Cookies and similar storage technologies help zipharonaighit.world remember consent, secure sessions, and—only if you opt in—measure anonymous traffic. This document layers on top of our Privacy Policy, which explains broader personal data handling.

1. What technologies we mean
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device. Local storage entries, session storage, and pixel tags may behave similarly. Together they can store consent proofs, session identifiers, or measurement IDs. We describe each category below so you can align choices with your comfort level.
2. Strictly necessary
These technologies power the consent log, protect forms from trivial abuse, balance load across servers, and remember language preferences. They do not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive implementation in Norway because they are essential to provide the service you asked for. You can still delete them manually via browser settings, though the banner will reappear.
Security note: We do not use strictly necessary cookies to run third-party advertising auctions. If that ever changes, this policy and the banner will gain a new version number with lead time.
3. Analytics (optional)
When you enable analytics, aggregated statistics help us see which pages explain VitalOne clearly and where navigation friction appears. IP addresses may be truncated by the vendor before storage. You may withdraw consent through the cookie settings modal; withdrawal does not erase historic aggregated reports that no longer identify you.
4. Marketing (optional)
Marketing cookies would measure whether campaigns bring thoughtful visitors rather than bots. They remain off unless you opt in. If we partner with an advertising network in the future, we list exact domains, retention, and linking options before activation.
5. Storage duration table
- Consent log: persists until you clear site data or click “Reject” then “Save”.
- Session security cookies: expire when the browser closes.
- Optional analytics identifiers: typically 14–26 months unless we shorten the window in vendor settings.
6. Managing preferences
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer banner to reopen the glassmorphism modal. Desktop browsers also let you block third-party cookies globally. Mobile Safari and Chrome provide per-site controls—we encourage reviewing those guides if you share a device.
- Open the modal through the floating banner.
- Toggle analytics or marketing independently.
- Press “Save preferences” to write updates to local storage.
- Hard-refresh if something looks cached (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R).
7. Google Fonts and CDN requests
We load typography from Google Fonts over HTTPS. The request shares your IP with Google as part of standard HTTP. Self-hosting fonts is on our engineering backlog; until then we document the transfer here for completeness.
8. Children
The VitalOne shop is for adults. We do not direct cookie prompts to minors and delete suspected underage accounts if discovered.
9. Updates
Adjustments appear with a refreshed narrative date mirrored in the header block above. Substantive changes trigger a new review by our Tromsø compliance contact.
